Garden Maintenance
Many clients choose to have us out to their gardens on a regular schedule. We refer to this as garden maintenance. Our intervals between visits can vary, and are tailored to each client depending on their needs, wants, and property. We find that intervals of four weeks are often adequate to maintain most spaces, however, that’s just an easy starting point and certainly not a solution for everyone.
tending + Stewarding
Our garden maintenance crews will do periodic visits to your garden throughout the season. This usually starts with a spring cleanup in May or early June, includes periodic visits during the summer, and ends with a cleanup in the autumn. The scope of our work includes weeding, planting, transplanting, wrangling, pruning and mulching, as well as consultation and planning.

As a small group of gardeners, you can count on us being thoughtful and invested in your garden spaces. We do this work because we love it, and because we all believe in the benefits of ecologically sound gardening practices. This means that, like at our stores, all of the materials we use are free from pesticides and sourced from growers that employ ecologically responsible practices. We smell the flowers, we watch the butterflies flutter, and we treat every garden as if it has a special place on this Earth.

but being a small neighborhood business, we often can’t work on large projects. If we’re unable to assist , we’ll do our best to provide you with an alternate partner to fulfill your request.
