It's important to us that you are happy with your purchases.
Mother Earth Gardens accepts returns on non-plant material, with receipt, for up to 30 days after purchase.
We will accept returns of trees and shrubs which fail to thrive through the growing season in which the tree or shrub was purchased. You must retain the original receipt and plant tag and present them with the failed tree or shrub. If the plant was particularly large, present the receipt and plant tag and a manager will decide how to handle the failed plant. This guarantee is valid if you are the original purchaser and have followed our planting and maintenance instructions. Materials planted in containers are not included in this warranty. No warranty is provided on transplanted trees or shrubs.
Gift cards are redeemable for merchandise or services, no cash redemptions. We are happy to mail to you or your gift card recipient.

Wooden rainbarrel - winter care suggestions:
- Store your barrels inside--out of the elements.
- It is a good idea to empty the barrel of water as much as possible so it doesn't freeze and expand
- Be sure to cover all openings to keep as much moisture inside as possible. I use plastic packing tape. (barrels would otherwise dry out due to the dry winter air)
- For added protection, it is a good idea to cover the barrel with a heavy duty plastic bag (again, to keep in moisture).
- The first time the barrel is filled in the spring, water may leak somewhat between the slats. After keeping water in the barrel for some time (1-2 days) the wood will expand and become water tight again. In the case that the rungs fall off, it's just a simple task to shimmy them back into place before you fill the barrel with water and then let the wood expand during this initial filling.
