HARVEST MOON SALE: 30% TO 50% OFF EVERYTHING IN THE STORE.  START AT 30%, SPIN FOR UP TO AN ADDITIONAL 20% OFF...
Sorry, no spring bulbs or local artists, but still a tonnage of great stuff. Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 13 and 14.

And now, Autumn. The bittersweet season.

If it could somehow be lifted out of its pre-winter slot in the year, would we love it more? Or is part of its appeal its role as pathway to winter?

Either way, the temps have definitely dropped 20 degrees in the last few weeks! Which leads to the first subject: WATER. Cool temperatures and the onset of fall do not mean blow off watering your trees and shrubs. In fact, this is one of the most important times of the year to keep young trees and shrubs, in particular, well watered.

BULBS. Spring bulbs are in. Tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc. can be planted starting mid-September. See this helpful link for more info: http://www.extension.umn.edu/yardandgarden/ygbriefs/h120bulbs-spring.html. We also have a very limited supply of garlic, with planting instructions.

Come get your beautiful mums! We have little containers this year, for window boxes and smaller pots, along with a lovely and large selection of Minnesota hardy varieties. Spruce up your containers, then add them to your perennial landscape.

Pumpkins are next - sustainably grown for your Halloween happiness. Super spooky decor to go with...

We have firewood, too, soon to be joined by some new firepits for those crisp fall evenings, and we always stock straw, hay and other mulch options.

Fall is a great time to plant perennials and shrubs, so come check out the offerings!
